MOBALPA PRODUCTS GUARANTEE
1. APPLICATION:
The guarantee applies to:
- Hinges and runners,
- Articles not manufactured but sold by Fournier under the brand Mobalpa
Selection.
2. DURATION:
The period of guarantee commences on the date our goods are delivered to the
distributor.
The duration of the guarantee is:
2 years for Mobalpa Selection goods
5 years for kitchen units
25 years for hinges and runners
3. Terms:
Products are guaranteed against all material defect or manufacturing faults. The
guarantee includes the replacement of
faulty goods.
In the event of a claim by the customer, it is the responsibility of the
distributor to verify its legitimacy before passing
the claim on to Mobalpa.
Mobalpa is responsible for:
The supply and delivery costs of goods replaced, from the factory to the
distributor’s warehouse.
Transport costs of faulty goods from the distributor’s warehouse to the
factory.
All other costs relative to the exchange of faulty goods are excluded, in
particular the cost of unit removal and reinstallation,
call-out costs and delivery to the customer.
4. EXCLUSIONS:
The Mobalpa guarantee does not cover damage occurring as a result of the
following:
Failure to follow installation instructions.
Failure to follow maintenance instructions.
Use of inappropriate products.
Excess heat.
Excess humidity.
Infiltration due to faulty seals.
Faults caused by modifications to units.
Water infiltration.
Variations and nuances in wood.
Colour variations due to light conditions.
Wear and tear of goods due to normal use.
Bulbs and fluorescent tubes are not covered by the Mobalpa guarantee.
Any damage caused by poor installation is excluded from the guarantee, as the
manufacturer is not involved in the
installation process.
The proper functioning of our goods is dependent on careful installation
following correct procedure.
You are reminded that in application of Articles 1641 of the Civil Code
customers are covered by the legal guarantee against
latent defects and that the present contractual guarantee does not affect these
statutory rights.
The application of the Mobalpa guarantee will under no circumstances generate
the payment of damages, either directly or
indirectly.
