wall brackets
Most wall units are supplied with 2 adjustable wall brackets fixed with dowels. Two screws that are easily reached from the front are used to adjust the height and depth of the unit to bring it perfectly into line with all other units. The mechanism, the metal parts of which have been treated against corrosion, make the bracket strong and durable. An attractive chrome-plated metal cover conceals the adjusting screws. Tested by the French Centre Technique du Bois et de l’Ameublement, each bracket is designed to hold a load of up to 65kg (i.e. 130kg per unit) and so meet European standard EN1153. The wall brackets sit on solid 2mm thick zinc-plated metal fixing plates. Their solidity depends on the correct choice of plug according to the type of wall. This choice is the responsibility of the installer. For aesthetic reasons, brackets for open shelf units, dressers and certain decorative units are not visible. They are fixed behind the back panel in the 2cm ventilation space. All glass units are assembled with adjustable brackets. |
